In an effort to encourage discussion between legislators and their
constituents, the Rowayton Library is partnering with the League of Women
Voters of Norwalk and will hold "Pie and Politics," a morning of
information, discussion, and pie -- really quiche and a light breakfast -- on
Saturday, March 9 @ 9am.
Here will be an
opportunity for legislators to get out and meet constituents on an informal
basis, when they're not campaigning, and talk about what their priorities are
and what bills they're sponsoring, while giving our community the opportunity
to meet their legislators in an informal setting to talk about whatever
concerns they have and ask questions. Join us for breakfast. The
event will be held from 9 to 10:30am. here at the Rowayton Library. All
of the legislators representing the local districts have been invited:
Senator Bob Duff and State Representatives: Larry Cafero, Gail Lavielle, Chris
Perone, Bruce Morris and Terrie Wood. Reservations please. The Rowayton Library, 33 Highland
Avenue. 203-838-5038.
