The program is designed to entice the novice to explore both new and familiar flavors in the “science” of mixology. Joseph has held managerial positions with several New York City restaurants as well as many prominent Chefs. He was the demonstration Chef for Bobby Flay on the “Boy meets Grill” book tour. Joseph also trained and cooked with celebrity chefs Vinnie Scotto and Patricio Sandoval. During his tenure at Nolita House, He consulted with Chef Sandoval developing seasonal menus and wine and beverage lists for the Mercadito restaurant group. Joseph also trained with Beard award winner Max McCallman, learning the art of wine and cheese pairing and then conducting classes at Nolita House. Joseph’s combines his love of food and wine with his focus on outstanding customer service to drive sales and build guest loyalty. After consulting with Bartaco & Barcelona SoNo, Joseph is now set at Sails... looking to grow roots in his new community.
